Vehicle Rescue Direct is available for purchase 24 hours a day using the Quote and Apply panel on the right. Please note that most benefits of cover are only available 24 hours after purchase and vehicles must be in a legal roadworthy condition at time of purchase.
Enter the make and model of your vehicle together with the year the it was first registered. Select if you require Annual UK cover or single trip European breakdown cover. Cover is available for cars, motorcyles and light vans only. (See note on maximum dimensions below*)
Apply Online
Once you have your quote you can purchase your cover immediately. You will need a VISA, Delta, Mastercard, Maestro or American Excpress card and an e-mail address. Once payment is made you will receive an e-mail confirming your details and providing you with the contact details for your breakdown service.
You will also receive a breakdown cover schedule and policy certificate in the post.

* Breakdown Insurance Notes
- Vehicles must be regularly serviced and not suffering from any recurrent mechanical or electrical problem.
- Vehicles must not exceed 2m in height, 5.1m in length, 2.1m in width, and under 3500kg kerb weight.
- There is no cover for commercial vehicles, vehicles registered outside the UK** or for journeys starting from outside the UK**.
- Trailers and Caravans covered free of charge whilst attached to the insured vehicle. (Trailer or Caravan Max dimensions: 8m long x 3m height x 2.25 wide)
- Journeys must start from the United Kingdom (including the Isle of Man and Channel Islands).
- Cover for any breakdown occuring within the first 24 hours is limited to roadside assistance and local recovery only.
