Any Driver

Your cover is based on your vehicle meaning it will be covered whoever happens to be driving or riding the car or motorcycle.

Roadside Assistance

If your vehicle is immobilised because of a breakdown or accident more than one mile away from your home we will arrange and pay for a vehicle rescue operator to come out to you and try and get your vehicle back on the road.

Local Recovery

If your vehicle breaks down or is immobilised in an accident and cannot be fixed within one hour roadside we will arrange for it to be taken it to a suitable garage, normally within 15 miles. We won't forget you and your passengers either.

Nationwide Recovery
(Available on Rescue Nationwide, Rescue Plus, & Rescue Plus Europe cover)

Nationwide Recovery Service
If your vehicle can't be repaired at the roadside within one hour or at a local garage the same day, we will arrange and pay for one of the following:

• Getting you home, or
  Taking your vehicle, driver and passengers to your intended destination or to your home and then, if requested and in the same journey, on to a local garage within 15 miles; or
   
• Overnight Accommodation, or
  Bed and Breakfast expenses for one night for the party (Limited to £40 per person up to £160). or;
   
• 24 Hour Car Hire
  24 hours car hire (UK only) up to 1100cc.

Emergency Driver
If the driver is incapacitated due to injury or illness and there is no other driver in the group, we will provide and pay for a driver.

At Home
(Available on Rescue Plus, & Rescue Plus Europe cover)

Breakdown assistance at, or within one mile, of your home. We will arrange and pay for a vehicle rescue operator to attend the breakdown for up to one hour. If your vehicle can't be fixed we will arrange and pay for it to be taken to a garage within 15 miles along with the driver and passengers.

European Cover
(Available on Rescue Plus Europe cover)

When the Rescu ePlus Europe plan is purchased, cover will be extended to include return trips between your home to your destination in Europe*. Cover is limited to 31 days per individual trip and no more than 90 days in total over the period of cover.
